A Perodua Kancil has transformed from looking worn-out to absolutely stunning, thanks to an incredible interior makeover that recently captivated TikTok users everywhere.
Posted by @ms.auto.cushion, the viral video shows the car’s complete makeover process turning what looked like an old, tired vehicle into a sleek, stylish ride.
The TikTok page, which specialises in sewing, changing, and refurbishing car interiors, shared a satisfying before-and-after montage of their makeover journey.
Every part of the vehicle, from the roof lining to the seats and dashboard, has been thoughtfully revamped with new materials and a fresh, inviting design.
In an interview with WeirdKaya, ms.auto.cushion revealed that the glow up received ideas from both the auto salon and the owner of the Perodua Kancil.
All in, the cost of the refurbishment was RM5,000. Considering a used Perodua Kancil in driving condition today, nearly 20 years later, would be about RM5,000 too.
We’ll admit the brown leatherette interior does look impressive for only RM5,000 and the inclusion of a touchscreen infotainment system was nice touch.
